I just have to share a little note about how much Adeline loves her “baby sister”! Every morning when she wakes up and Alan brings her into our room she shouts, “Good Morning!”, comes over to the bed and sees Evelyn there and says, “It’s Evelyn! Baby sister! Good morning! Good girl, Evelyn [patting her gently on the head]. Evelyn eating. Love you, Evelyn. Kiss [kissing her head]. Hug [leaning into Evelyn]. Pray [she grabs Evelyn’s hand], Our Father.” You might think all of this is an exaggeration, but on any given morning - actually at virtually any given time of day - this is what Adeline is doing and saying, and she does and says these things over and over and over and over again! She absolutely adores her baby sister. It is the most precious thing ever and brings me such joy and delight. I love my girls!

Also, today a couple from the church stopped by with a delivery. They had taken up a collection from the people of the church and purchased a glider for us! And they had collected more than enough money for the gift so they gave us the balance in cash. It was a lovely surprise. Here’s what it looks like:
