Today was Memorization Sunday at our church. Twice a year - once during fall semester and once during spring semester - people in the church who have memorized verses or passages of Scripture stand up and recite them during what would normally be the Sunday School hour. The organized Sunday School classes usually have something memorized and then there is a time for anyone to get up front and recite something they have worked on. Adeline's class (the 2's and 3's) memorized two verses for today's event. Here they are all lined up on the pew awaiting their turn - left to right: Hannah, Ashlyn, Adeline, Monica and Mason.

Here they are reciting their verses:
If you didn't notice, Adeline didn't say anything when the kiddoes recited their verses in church, so we asked her later. Here she is reciting her verses at home:
A few times a day she says, "What's your memory verse?" wanting us to ask her what her memory verse is. So we say, "Adeline, what's your memory verse?" and she'll recite the first one. Then she'll ask again, "What's your memory verse?", so we ask again and she tells us the second one. It is very cute :).
